Having practiced for many years in health, social care, legal and training sectors, the BIS team have drawn together their extensive knowledge and skills from various disciplines with the aim of improving the availability and quality of certain professional services.
Our team of professional independent advocates have over 50 years combined experience ensuring that people's views are heard and their rights respected. We are passionate about really empowering people; as we say "Not about them, without them".
Our team of social workers have over 70 years combined experience. We have additional qualifications in fields such as AMHP, DoLS BIA's, and advanced legal qualifications. We have specialists in areas such as Human Rights, Mental Capacity and Health law, Continuing Healthcare, the Court of Protection, COP Visitors, and legal professionals.
We have experience doing everything from needs assessments to Expert Witness reports for the Court of Protection.
Our trainers are experienced in delivering expert quality learning sessions to delegates from all levels of practice and management.
We recognise the difficult environment which is currently faced by all health and social care services, and we want to do our part to improve the availability, quality of service delivery, and knowledge in these areas.
